Friday, June 12, 2015. Friday, June 12 - Our last full day in Israel was very busy. This morning our bus picked us up for our visit to Bethany, the home of Mary and Martha and the tomb where Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead. Our second stop for the day was The Valley of the Shadow where we could see the St George Monastery that is in a deep valley. We had a drive by look at Herodian and stopped for a picture. And Peter denied him 3 times. And the Golden Menorah that has been built for the 3rd Temple.

Tuesday, June 2, 2015. Tuesday, June 2 - The morning we were up at 4:00 AM and after fiddling around in our room Phyllis, Patty and I decided to go walk around outside. We found the Bedouin Tent that we had visited the last time we were here, but it was empty except for the cat. They must not get up this early. Monday, June 1, 2015. May 31 - Patty and I meet at DIA this morning in time to catch our plane to Newark, NJ. We left DIA at 8:00 AM and arrived at Newark at 2:00 PM. We had a 2 1/2 hr layover at which time we met up with Phyllis and Merle, Eva and Steve Faupel. Our plane that was due to take off at 4:30 PM was delayed due to torrential rains. Monday, June 1, 2015. Monday, June 1 - We arrived at Ben Gurion Ariport around 1:30 PM and had to trust Doron and Osnat to come up with plan B since we already missed our flight to Eilat,. Osnat escorted us to the border to be sure all went well and then we met our Jordanian guide at the other side. After a 1 1/2 hr bus ride we arrived at the Queen Ramia Hotel for dinner and overnight.
