Friday, October 24, 2014. I'm really sad to say that on Sunday, Abba will be driving up to NH to give our 8 chickens away. Pogo had been pecking all of the other chickens and now we will not have to worry about rats. The Chickens are 1 1/2 years old, and we hope they will live happily ever after! Saturday, May 25, 2013. Sonothing much going on. The chickies are little mini chickens. We re-established their names. Ping and Pong, Mrs. Poppers, Bashful, and Pimpam, and Mocha, Pogo, Ginny, and Duffy! I was too lazy to go down and dump some strawberry stems, so I gave it to the chicks through the porch. They really wanted to eat it! There's really nothing going on, well, they really are flying up to roost on the big roosts a lot. But they are going to grow up soon so we need to say good-bye!

Sunday, April 28, 2013. Well, I forgot to say, but I took up a little Buff up onto the perch in the coop, and it fell right off! Good thing it's still fluff! I took a RI next and it just stepped on. Then another, and a buff again I held my hands near it just in case and after a minute or so, it started slipping. That was really cute. Also they are just too stupid to go in and out of the house! Chicks are Really Happy! Thursday, April 11, 2013. Ronit and Miriam have been taking them out for field days.

Friday, January 17, 2014. The cold is gone. It's been a long time but not much has happened. We only had mildly cold weather, and the only reason the chickens minded was that we forced them to sleep inside (which I think they like now) and they could not run around due to snow (for about 2 days). Tuesday, December 28, 2010. Our Cousins Come to Visit. This took place recently, not a few months ago. Moving the Chickens to Friends'. To take care of them, I simply chose to, my parents could have, and sometimes did). And there were also no dark and scary nights when I had to lock them up. But besides those two little reasons it was terrible not having them. For one, now we had to buy eggs again! Slowly I started visiting the chicks less often and I did not get to watch them grow up.
