Sarah Makes A List: This frame of mind
http://sarahmakesalist.blogspot.com/2013/08/this-frame-of-mind.html
Sarah Makes A List. Thursday, August 15, 2013. This frame of mind. Oh, and I was attacked by 15 vicious blood sucking ticks two weeks before that. So that's why I've been gone. On the plus side I can take two goals off my list now. 1 Take a yoga class. That ever elusive number one, after 3 years, is complete. Twice a week I'm up at 6 am for my new yoga class. Be proud of the not-a-morning person, k? Do a full forward bend. Some day I will fold like I haven't got any pesky organs. 22 Reduce caffeine intake.

Sarah Makes A List: My Thirty of '13
http://sarahmakesalist.blogspot.com/2013/12/my-thirty-of-13.html
Sarah Makes A List. Tuesday, December 10, 2013. My Thirty of '13. Every year I try to throw together a list of my favorite music of that year. And every year I have some serious breakdowns, choosing just a select few to proclaim as my favorites. Well I'm resisting this year. Instead I'm giving you 30 songs that I thought were pretty good. Here's the list, in no particular order, followed by the link to my Spotify playlist. Muchacho's Tune - Phosphorescent. Never Seen Such Good Things - Devendra Barnhart.

Sarah Makes A List: August 2012
http://sarahmakesalist.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Sarah Makes A List. Friday, August 31, 2012. PART I / Megalophobia. I type with a heavy heart this morning. I must inform you that in completing a goal on my list, the experience resulted only in heightening an existing fear of mine: the fear of large animals. Here is the review that I left for Uncle Ike's on Yelp:. My friends have enjoyed trail rides with Bear Creek and highly recommend them instead.". Oh Lovely. I hadn't thought of that. PART II / Folders. T consisted of my. I'm thankful for my friends...

Sarah Makes A List: A personal reflection
http://sarahmakesalist.blogspot.com/2013/11/a-personal-reflection.html
Sarah Makes A List. Friday, November 15, 2013. Our world, or rather our culture, focuses on a me first type of attitude. You must take care of yourself before you can help anyone else. I'm getting a little weary with this self-centered and trite lifestyle. What if we were to give up ourselves instead? What if we don't love our self first and instead channel that love on to others? I've been contemplating the year of 2013 and have come to the conclusion that it has been a pretty great year. It wish th...

Sarah Makes A List: The worst version of myself
http://sarahmakesalist.blogspot.com/2013/06/the-worst-version-of-myself.html
Sarah Makes A List. Monday, June 17, 2013. The worst version of myself. When we are alone and arguably the most comfortable or when we are with other people? I see the good parts of my personality shining brightly when no one is anywhere near to witness. My desire is to be comfortable around others. My problem is that I’m not comfortable with myself. Begin musical interlude *. Random fact: I have 90's music running through my head at all times. End musical interlude *. Things have been accomplished, I ha...

Sarah Makes A List: May 2013
http://sarahmakesalist.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Sarah Makes A List. Thursday, May 16, 2013. There has been enough time for you. Have you seen those suggested posts on your Facebook feeds? They’re ads that FB seems to think you care about. Generally they are useless and are not applicable or meaningful to my life at all. (I am however insulted that today’s suggested post was for a diet pill. What’re you saying FB? I should explain something. The ad was a link to a diet pill. The ad itself was made up of several photos of colorful foods that wer...There...

Sarah Makes A List: June 2012
http://sarahmakesalist.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Sarah Makes A List. Monday, June 11, 2012. It's been 4 months since I last updated. As I comfortably lounge in my bed and drink a glass of chocolate Lactaid milk (it really is wonderful) the one overall theme that comes to mind is the idea of complacency. It has been very clear in my life that complacency is a choice. I've been contemplating this concept of two personalities becoming fully aware of each other pretty hard lately. In my own life, the amount of time it takes for me to fully trust and be...
