Nov 16th, 2014 at 8:08 PM. A Christmas cake recipe that has been in our family for years and used to be made on the October long weekend every year, along with a Christmas pudding. Below is 3 versions of the cake and a version of the pudding. Christmas Cake - (Imperial). 2 oz Chopped nuts. 14 oz S.R. Flour. 1 tsp Baking Powder. 1 1/2 Cups Water. 12 oz Brown sugar. 1 tsp Almond essence. Mar 13th, 2014 at 11:40 PM. Work has restarted on the HMS Victory with hull planking being added at the stern. Just hope I am using the right planks for it. Also I am still waiting on 2 issues for the HMS Hood to come in to the newsagent. They have been missing for months, just hope I don't have to get them off ebay. New partwork on the UK Model Space website. High-quality wooden and cast metal parts. Cloth sails and flags. Approx scale as real scale is historically unknown. War of the worlds.

More work on the Black Pearl. Feb 9th, 2015 at 3:22 PM. At More work on the Black Pearl. Work is pregressing on the Black Pearl with quite a bit done since the last post. In the end I decided to keep the build as it was and not go changing it to a fully enclosed hull.
