Outdoor, Scenic, and Nature Photo Blog. On March 20, 2012. Just sharing a favorite photo today. This is a scene I put together during a visit to Ruby Beach in Washington. I chose to freeze the spray rather than blur the waves in this shot. I was pretty lucky to get a little color at sunset because it was heavily overcast most of the day. March 11, 2012 at 10:05 am. Great idea for a post, my friend. I should have thought of this myself. I do have a couple of ideas around posts for technique and equipment reviews, but I hope not to get too far into that kind of thing. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Outdoor, Scenic, and Nature Photo Blog. On March 3, 2012. Given the winter we’ve been experiencing this year, this scene might be hard to find. I made this photo last year over in the Appalachian Mountains of Virginia. I’m not about to complain about the mild temperatures we’ve enjoyed but every season offers its own unique photographic opportunities. I’m going to have to slow down on my blog for a few weeks but please stay tuned. I’ll be back with some new photos from a new area. Enter your comment here.
