Starting to see progress- long ways to go- lol. All the small glass boxes have been moved out of the fabric room- yeah! Table is starting to get less cluttered- one black shelf out, two to go. A couple of years ago several of us joined Deborah in a "mystery". I have to admit mine took longer to finish then I would have liked. The quilt turned out beautiful and is now gifted to my favorite younger sister. I hope to add applique borders. This is on my TO DO for 2012. Comment - Who would you gift this quilt too.

Sewing, quilting, scrapbooking and a little bit of everyday life. Monday, March 9, 2015. Faux chenille potholders to baby quilt (um rug). Have you made faux chenille? Well I love texture and saw these little potholders at a local LQS and decided to give them a try. They are great in the kitchen, look good, work hard and launder up wonderfully. My hubby has big hands and he loves that I made them oversized, perfect for him. I like the extra protection they give me. Isn't that little animal print cute?
