A Study on International Maritime Firefighting Operations. Wednesday, May 28, 2008. FF fitness programs are an integral part of station life over here just like back home, with a few exceptions! I had the privilege of meeting and presenting Fire Chief Trussler with the NSWFB plague that Commissioner Mullins had given me. We had a great discussion on my time so far and the benefits of the exchange program. Tuesday, May 20, 2008. I am now attached to 3 Hall while I complete my First Responder training....

A Study on International Maritime Firefighting Operations. Wednesday, July 9, 2008. I have been doing some Duty Trades (PCS) at 2 hall. They have the newest truck in the fleet which is a 2007 Smeal capable of 1500 GPM. So I received my custom made turn out gear which has an awesome fit. Sounds flash, the draw back being you only get 1 set and it has to last you 7 years! 160;Definitely worth the extra cost. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. WEB LINKS * *.

A Study on International Maritime Firefighting Operations. Saturday, December 27, 2008. The snow continues to fall and as much as I enjoy it on the mountains it certainly makes a lot of work shoveling it from the front of the engine bays and all the paths that lead into the Hall. Up at 6 to clear it for the incoming shift. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow. WEB LINKS * *.

Aussie Austin: December 2006

A Study on International Maritime Firefighting Operations. Saturday, December 23, 2006. Winnipeg Fire and Paramedic Service Fire Hall #10. Extreme Cold Weather Adaptations. One of the most interesting adaptations for the extreme cold weather was the internal pump controls. The rear of the cabin is where the motor driver runs the pump from, therefor removing him/her from standing in the elements. There is also enough room in the rear of the cabin to lay a casualty down and administer first aid.
