Monday, September 18, 2006. First Night in UK - On both blogs! Well I will be home again in the UK from the 12th July - And as I quite like the idea of a blog I may just keep it up when i get home but obviously under a new name! It may not be as exciting but you never quite know! The following photos were from my first night back! Got up at 5.40am to get a lift up to the lighthouse, unfortunately it wasn’t a great sunrise as it had been raining, however it was still worth getting up for. Wednesday, May 31, 2006. Though the weather hasn’t been the greatest whilst here (Whoever said that the sun always shines in Oz? I do think that Melbourne is a terrific city, safe and easy to get around. I feel that I have met some really nice people who I hope I will keep in contact. I hope that when any of them ever come over to England I am able to make them feel as welcome as they have made me feel. OK so we have a plan already to solve that! Friday, April 28, 2006. Thursday 27th April, Marconi Ericsson Celebration Event. Kelly and I had an invite to go to the Hush Bar, Level 3, Melbourne Central Shopping Centre with the rest of the team. Friday, July 14, 2006. My flight was at 9.15pm. The first stage from Sydney to Dubai , approx 14 hours, then Dubai to Heathrow, 7 hours.tried sleeping on th plane but not that successful.watched a few movies.took it easy.
