Thursday, 29 April 2010. Rollingstone - April 2010. We traveled a massive 68km north out of Townsville before pulling in to Rollingstone Beach Caravan Resort. This park is absolute beach front; when you drive down the road to the park it ends by you driving in to the park gates, no other traffic comes down this way. Tuesday, 25 May 2010. Kurrimine Beach - May 2010. There is another park here which is at the Reef Hotel; this is only 500m from the Big 4 and is $30 per night or $180 for the week (dearer) and does not have anything like the facilities here. On top of this the park has one of the best kitted out camp kitchens we have seen on our travels; it has every appliance you would need along with pots, pans, crockery etc, it also has projection equipment for movies on a big screen along with a flat screen telly.

Monday, 13 September 2010. Cloncurry and The Burke and Wills Roadhouse - August 2010. We arrived in Cloncurry towards the end of July to meet up with Joe and Glenys; they were bringing the bus they have been working on converting for a few days break away from the farm. Friday, 30 July 2010. Charters Towers - June 2010. Back to the old way of doing the web site after the long version of Cape York. After the C.Y trip we did stay on in Cairns for a couple more days before heading south back to Townsville for our trip west for the much awaited Boulia camel races.
