Tuesday, March 20, 2007. Three girls and three boys. On Sunday March 18, Sheryl and I drove to see our friend and Bernese Mountain Dog breeder, Sharon Groves. A litter of six pups was born to Blossom (aka B2) on February 23. We saw them all Sunday; three girls and three boys. They were all stunning; not a "bad" one out of the lot. Anyone of these little (it's all relative! Would be a welcome addition to any home. We made no hard and fast decisions. Tuesday, March 6, 2007. New addition to the Taylor family.

He decided that he wanted to meet Oz who was, of course, quite curious about the latest addition to the household. As is his character he jumped over a baby gate, dashed up to Oz, scent marked Ozzie's muzzle, wrapped himself around an enormous leg and that was it! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Tuesday, November 28, 2006. I mentioned earlier that both Xena and Rocky loved to mooch (steal, more like) food from Ozzie's bowl when we fed him. It's not as if the cats had not already eaten their food - they just liked the fact that they could eat something different (usually fresh vegetables, cottage cheese, ground meat, various supplements and Wellness "kibble") and Oz would allow it - sometimes a little reluctantly! Tuesday, March 6, 2007. New addition to the Taylor family. Sunday morning, Sheryl called our breeder, Sharon Groves, to inquire if the latest litter of puppies had been born. On February 23, 2007, six pups were born; three boys and three girls. Mother and kids are doing just fine. One of the boys is earmarked for our home. We'll be driving to see the brood in the next couple of weeks and will make our selection at that time. So, watch this space in the coming weeks for more information and photographs.

Monday, April 2, 2007. Sunday April 1 could not come soon enough for Sheryl. We had packed up all sorts of stuff to take with us and I'd burned a couple of new CDs for the drive. About a half hour from our house, Sheryl asked if I had brought the camera. One u-turn and a swearing fit from yours truly later, we were headed (again) to see Sharon and the babies. We had actually settled on our pups' name about one week before - Ben. We had still to select our boy but we did have a name. We'll keep you posted!

She needs to put on some weight though; the little monsters appear to be nursing almost constantly! Congratulations David and Sheryl on your new addition. We can't wait to meet little Ben! We Are A Happy Family

Wednesday, December 7, 2011. I guess the bad thing about neglecting the blog for over a year is playing catch up when enough people give me grief about it. Malia has grown so much in the last year! Emma did wonderful in Kindergarten! We have loved having lots of friends to play with. This is Malia and her friend Capri last spring. I love having other kids come and play so that my kids are distracted long enough for me to get a few minutes to myself. First my brother, Colin married Cora in September.
