Monday, April 25, 2011. Staying here in Rome. I really hope this is the view from my room. We are staying at a guesthouse called one step from peter. And I am loving the reviews on it. The fridge full of croissants, yogurts, and bread had me totally sold. That and the gelato shop two blocks away. I think I am most excited for the food in Europe. It's a dream come true. I am probably the last person on the planet to discover Google reader. My life is changed forever. Kind of how emily.

Somehow I ended up registered for a Warrior Dash in Nebraska, so we jumped in the plane and headed to Fiarbury to pick up Rick and Darcy. Pre-Race BBQ with Blatny's. There were several moments I thought I was going to die. Our 'heat' (pun intended) started at 3pm - on one of the hottest days of the year. Jim decided to swim under the mud at the end.
