Is the second on "Strategy" with the first being the infamous Chapter 8 (Centralizing the pieces) which I bombed. Would this be more of the same? Chapter 15 - Combinations. Speaking of calculation, a quick shout out to Dan Forbes's excellent chess blog. Borrowing his ideas for my own use. Chapter 16 - Queen against pawn.

Pawn to Rook 4. Tuesday, August 19, 2014. Games #35, #36, #37. Three more games played in a July Swiss at my club. Time control of G65 d10. Game #1 isn't much worth mentioning as I win a piece out of the opening against a much lower rated player, although I was a little nervous towards the end that I was allowing too much counter play. Don't let his 700 rating fool you, he beat a 1300 player in the next round. Wednesday, August 6, 2014. Games #30, #31, 32, #34. This tournament time control was G90 d5.
