P53 Inc is seeking regulatory authorizations to conduct the clinical trials shown in the figure below for patients with liver, colon, lung and other solid tumors. All of these products employ genetically engineered adenoviruses. The products Ad-p53 and Ad-mda7 use a genetically modified adenovirus to add the tumor suppressor genes p53 and mda7 into tumors where they are expressed and exert their tumor suppressor activities.
