Port Authority of Allegheny County's Public Art Collection. 8203;Jane Haskell,. Painted aluminum, neon, glass block, 1984. Jane Haskell (1923 – 2013) was born in Cedarhurst, Long Island, New York. After earning a bachelor’s degree in fine art from Skidmore College, Haskell moved to Pittsburgh with her family in 1949 and continued her education at the University of Pittsburgh. As an artist, Haskell explored relationships between light and perception through painting and sculpture. Create a free website.

Port Authority of Allegheny County's Public Art Collection. Ceramic tile mural, 1984. Bearden depicts the triangle of land that is created by the confluence of the Allegheny, Monongahela, and Ohio rivers. On one side of the mural are images that reference Pittsburgh’s colonial history, including an image of a military fort. Port Authority of Allegheny County's Public Art Collection. Steel frames, 1984. Located on the platform level of the Wood Street Station,. Serves multiple purposes. Paley created two large frames, sculpted from steel and consisting of various shapes that overlap. They are used to hold posters advertising cultural events.
