But I can report that it was not expensive – and in fact was remarkably inexpensive. Of course, our current exchange rate of $1 AUD=$1.75FJD makes everything in Fiji appear inexpensive. The wharf at Savu Savu – with the restaurant. 8211;with accompanying music. There is always music in Fiji. For a nice lunch! Not a bad outlook? Five days at sea.

Vava’u (pronounced Vavow) – what a GEM in the Crown of Tonga! I had not really heard of this place before we booked this cruise. I have to admit that I did not know much about Tonga at all – but that is what travel is for! Early morning arrival into the Port of Refuge. Pacific Pearl – quietly at anchor. Just one of the interesting visiting boats.
