Putting May's theme of "Leave Nothing But Footprints: Take Nothing But Pictures" into practice this past weekend our scouts demonstrated true mettle in a 4-mile hike up the Bonneville Shoreline Trail. For this meeting the boys got together to visit one of the University's best kept secrets, the Fort Douglas Museum. We picked the perfect day for the trip. The weather was hot, but bearable. This is just the place. You can learn to tie knots, set up a tent, or shoot a bow and arrow (archery). Have you ever cooked a meal on a campfire? Sent a secret code to a buddy? Earn rewards for doing these things in Cub Scouts. Cub Scouts Belong to Packs and Dens. As a Cub Scout, you will be part of your own pack.
