Little did I know that the upper section of the trail is seldom used and the trail peters out in several places, so we ended up doing a little bushwhacking to get back on track. The toughest part of this trail- passing up the waterfalls and not taking in all the beauty! The third falls had two small drops and with the surrounding colors, makes up for the lack of size. Sunday, October 13, 2013. Other than a sore lip he was released unharmed! A side view of a very good lookin' fish! Me, fumbling around tying on some new flies. This is what happens when the camera is on manual and forget to switch it back to auto. Its a shame because this rainbow was quite beautiful. There is a trail that leads down to the river and bottom of the dam. Well worth the effort! Back to the truck and time to head home. It wasn't my dream birthday weekend, but it was fun none the less!

Saturday, June 20, 2015. Waterfall hunting part duex. Redo of my last attempt to visit one of my favorite backcountry waterfalls! Even at over 50 miles away from Salt lake, the light pollution is still a hindrance and with the 12800 ISO on the top picture I was able to capture some of that light pollution and the colors it contained!
