CALL 204.788.1070. We are located on Cash and MacKinnon Islands in Shoal Lake, which is part of the Lake of the Woods waterway. We are approximately two hours from Winnipeg (Hwy 59 and Trans-Canada) and one hour from Kenora. During the months of July and August our administrative office is located at the camp. The rest of the year administrative work is done from our Winnipeg office. Mpc@pioneercamp.ca. Travel east on the Trans-Canada into Ontario. Drive 17 km (1 km past the village) to a Y in the road.

Our team of WAVpaddling Instructors took an early season spin near Elk Island in late April. Mick Lautt, Trevor Simms, Scott Palmer, Jamie Hilland, Lori Neufeld and I spent a day getting back in touch with the wter, our boats and each other. Once across we checked out the limestone cliffs along the SW point of the Island.
