Paddle 4 a Cure's second annual fundraiser event is Saturday, September 24, 2011. REGISTRATION NOW CLOSED. Paddle 4 a Cure was formed to support the fight against Head and Neck cancer, more specifically, Squamous Cell Carcinoma. The founder, Daniel J. Turner, has overcome Squamous Cell Carcinoma and created the organization to give back to the Stanford Radiation Department for their treatments and research. The Paddle 4 a Cure fundraiser event is a Kayaking Adventure. And the Harbor Kayak Adventure.
