Monday, August 24, 2009. To Dakota and Back with Dad #4. I started reading a book called "Sacred Romance". It talks about intimacy with God in very profound way in how we all have adulterous moments (some more than others) in our relationship with God. Intimacy is dangerous period as it requires being known which requires being transparent and vulnerable. ICK! Here South Dakota the presence of God seems blaring. Wednesday, June 29, 2005. A new sheriff in town( well, kind of ). Well Fr Jim has gone to start a church in Arizona and I have been left to be the Rector (pastor) of All Saints Church. I knew it was coming for a long time but now it's reality. My bishop has every confidence in me and the congregation is very supportive. I have far more confidence in God's grace and providence than I have in my abilities. There are occupations like auto mechanic. Lord, what are you going to do today? Tuesday, June 28, 2005.

Sunday, May 29, 2005. Scripture says "and He was made known to them in the breaking of bread". Wow! Most of us know that during the Eucharist, Jesus makes himself known to us in the breaking of bread . But through the sharing of a meal? This afternoon I spent time with some members of our church family. On the last Sunday. Though my veins so I to stop and get food for everyone to eat. Mexicans don't invite people over if they're not willing to feed them. It surprised. Was Jesus present, Yes! DO NOT WORRY .

I've been called to be father to many sons in the spirit. Many of whom I could never be there father as they are too close to my age or older. Yet I am called to raise them spiritually.
