Viele Kinder im Alter von 6 bis 18 Jahren wurden seit Oktober 2008 gecastet und von Karnevalsprofis behutsam ausgebildet. Viel ist in der Zwischenzeit geschehen. Die Pänz sind mittlerweile aus dem Karneval nicht mehr wegzudenken.
