RivetedBlog: December 2010
http://rivetedblog.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 31, 2010. Of course, we will need one! My husband does not yet agree on this point. But I see her, greeting customers calmly, with a toothy canine smile. A sweet little toy poodle, so we don't have hair everywhere. (I shed enough! She probably won't be as fancy as this one by designer Denise Feidler. But just as book smart! Denise makes the most wonderful images out of repurposed book pages. Collections of different dogs, chairs, fashionable accessories and food! Links to this post.

RivetedBlog: What Works? What Went Wrong?
http://rivetedblog.blogspot.com/2014/01/what-works-what-went-wrong.html
Thursday, January 16, 2014. It's a 5W post! Hopefully, a series, to deconstruct what works, or what went wrong in a design. Please ask questions! I dusted and peeked in the left top junk drawer. Egad. Kiddie music on cassette? Next, I go to my Stuff Closet. Ok. I will admit it. Closets! Here are some other thrifted items I gathered up. I looked for color that might go with the painting. A range of big and small items. I like the IDEA of the round black try. But in reality it is too much t...I loved how t...

RivetedBlog: A mermaid's treasure box
http://rivetedblog.blogspot.com/2011/03/mermaids-treasure-box.html
Wednesday, March 2, 2011. A mermaid's treasure box. Perhaps she left it with her Italian Prince for safekeeping? Beautiful highly detailed Florentine leather jewelry box in the shape of a seashell. Deep kelp green, with velvet interior. Inside, find a removable tray and two covered compartments. Also included are the mermaid's own favorite 3 shell necklaces, and a hand embroidered vintage linen, complete with her hard partying, scandalous portrait astride a fish! Where was her prince then?
