Acupuncture is covered by many health insurance plans! If your plan does not cover acupuncture, you can purchase an optional "rider" that will cover Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. This optional rider is part of Oregon's Essential Health Benefits, so your insurance company is required to offer it. If I am not in your insurance network, I may still be able to bill your insurance company "out of network.". I'm happy to answer your questions, and I can help you find out if your insurance covers Acupuncture.

Disordered eating patterns are challenging and complex health issues, and their increasing prevalence among both younger and older people is especially concerning. But I am hopeful. I know (and research shows) that Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine can be a powerful tool in the treatment of disordered eating conditions like bulimia, anorexia and binge eating disorder. For patients with these conditions, I can provide complementary support to counseling, therapy and other medical treatment.
