So this morning Josh, the kids, and I looked up from breakfast to see six baby cows staring at us through our window. You can even read a little news article about it. The emporium of thoughtful thoughts. Naxos Part III: Miracles, Olive Presses, and Defying Death. Our first stop was a traditional little town where we visited an oldschool olive press. I couldn’t get very many picture of it, since it was dark inside. It was very cool, though. The olive press and elderly german folks. Just down the road was a traditional pottery shop—another awesome place that I couldn’t get any good pictures of. It looks like this person managed it, though. Oh internet, how I love you so.

We got an early start and got up there before most of the island had woken up, which is the best time to do things if you ask me. Few tourists, more opportunities to linger and take a million and a half pictures. The Portara is up on a little hill that is connected to the pier where we spent most of our evenings. The emporium of thoughtful thoughts. The Agora and More(a)! After the Acropolis, we climbed down to the Ancient Agora. And here's a view of the acropolis from the Agora. I actually liked the Agora it much better. It was much quieter, as there were not as many people around. There was a beautiful building called the Chapel of the Apostles. It seems like just a short time ago you were just a baby, and then a 2 year old who I worried would never talk. Now you're 4 and you NEVER stop talking!
