Monday, March 24, 2014. Early days of Spring! We are enjoying the start to spring. The highlights this past week have been running with baby sheep at the farm, seeing bumblebees, picking daisies and planting flowers (the deer ate all the tulips within 24 hours, and here I thought we were friends because I fed them organic apples all winter! We've spent every sunny day outside and even some cloudy ones too just enjoying the milder temperatures and the longer light. Just roasting marshmallows on the "fire".

Too lazy to figure out how to change it right now. We are in the process of preparing for the fall. It's important to me that our family eat as local as possible and eat the foods that are in season so this year I decided to try my hand at canning. Tuesday, August 27, 2013. This morning Paige wanted to do some measuring, she had her ruler all ready to go and was just dying for me to get my act together so we could sit down and work. Monday, March 3, 2014. Time for another post! So, life, it moves so quickly and slowly the same time. Phases feel like years but days go by like minutes and there's never enough time to write in this blog. But I'm here now, today, at 10 on a Monday night laying in bed nursing Ryder back to sleep, (Yes he still nurses, yes it's normal for toddlers to nurse) and that's all that matters. We have been doing a lot of puzzles lately. Walking in the rain. We've even had some snow days! We made our own fossils.
