Smiling at the future. Wednesday, January 5, 2011. I have a cookie extravaganza post coming up, but I wanted to highlight this cookie. It's light and crisp and fantastic. I got this recipe from Sassy Radish. A cooking blog I've had been following lately. I didn't take pictures of the dough process, so I'll just refer you to the above link. You have to let the dough rest overnight - I shaped mine into a long rectangle so I would have little square cookies. This was a great idea. :-).

Adventures in Argonia

Monday, March 8, 2010. All that to say, days here are brighter and life is sweeter now that Soren and I can be outside without bundling up for five minutes beforehand. We can lay on a blanket outside and bask in the sun and not be chilled by the wind. It's getting better. The girls came over last week and, like usual, we took pictures around town. Then we went to the River Park which is about a mile outside of town. There is an AMAZING tire swing out there that deserves a picture. Soren's 5 months now!
