Do or do not, there is no try. Chronicles of an Erudite Domestic Goddess. April 7th, 2011. Apr 7th, 2011. Back to the dermatologist this morning; will have more to say later, I'm sure. Well, duh. Finally. Apr 7th, 2011 at 12:45 PM. Headed to the hospital within the hour to deal with this skin mess, and I'm told I'll be there for a couple days at least. We're just waiting for my oncologist to sign off on the admission and he won't be in the office until 1:00, which is only 15 minutes from now.

I didn't even have to talk to my doctor this morning - the nurse took one look at my poor blistered chest and did it for me. The one I wanted - to not do the 4th round of intense chemo and start the 12-week taxol treatment today. Other than I am currently stoned to the gills on the IV Benadryl they started today's infusion with, I feel pretty good. Less nausea, less mouth pain and more energy (and hair!

But I'm not ready! June 15th, 2006. But I'm not ready! Okay, I realize this is not a Pagan parenting issue per se, but I will take all the advice I can get. My daughter, who is 18 months old *today* seems ready to start wanting to try the potty. We've been reading her books about it for months, and I try to "set a good example.". The diaper also disappeared some time in the middle of the night last night. Now I can basically housebreak a dog in a week or less, especially one as food-motivated as a beagle.
