I’ve talked before about my history. Today, March 1st. Marks the beginning of Self Injury Awareness Month and kicks off with Self Injury Awareness Day ( SIAD. This month, barring unforeseen slip-ups, will mark 10 months self-harm-free for me. Self-injury is an addiction. And it is not just a female problem.
