Goofs and Gadflies: December 2005
http://ryestar.blogspot.com/2005_12_01_archive.html
Sunday, December 11, 2005. The only constant is change. It's the pace of change that can be unnerving. I have lost a lot of my definition. I have found that the undefined have a definite difficulty with definition. Since a lot of what I do here is the definitive "me", I definitely have defaulted to desolation and blog dereliction. This ain't au revoir, it's goodbye." - Roger Waters, Radio KAOS. Be back in a few to continue being a gadfly. Posted by Rye at 7:18 AM. I write, so you don't have to.

Goofs and Gadflies: August 2005
http://ryestar.blogspot.com/2005_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 25, 2005. Sweet, sweet burn. Of sun and summer wind. And you my friend. My new fun thing. What can't be discerned from our winged wonders of the hinterland is the emotional cost of this surreal life. Penguins are compelled to do what they must to survive. Humanity is often the other way around. Humanity revels in the drama of life. It diffuses the focus of reality and allows us a momentary reprieve from the responsibilities of like, say, sanity? STRANGER IN A STRANGE LAND!
http://strangerinstrangeland.blogspot.com/2007/04/on-waste.html
Thursday, April 26, 2007. I was just surfing TV channels and end up in the Democratic debate going on in South Carolina. . . and the next dude who starts talking about using "our military strength" is definitely not going to get my vote. It seems to me that a presidential election is about who's the most "Macho Man" who can flex the military muscle the most. Stop wasting money in the military and start spending money on people: us, the fucking people that pay those taxes! Wed Oct 24, 02:10:00 AM EDT.

Goofs and Gadflies: October 2005
http://ryestar.blogspot.com/2005_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 24, 2005. There's so much I need to say to you,. So many reasons why;. You're the only one who really knew me at all" - Phil Collins. How can I be so content, so happy, and yet so sad, all at the same time? What causes this caustic conflagration of comical calamity to incite such a multiplicity of emotion? Why do I have to feel all of it? Can I just not be swayed by one predominant set of reactions? Something to cloud my judgment and objectivity? Back to square one. No, it does not. I...

Greg's Egg: Riddle me this, riddle me that
http://gregsegg.blogspot.com/2006/11/riddle-me-this-riddle-me-that.html
Monday, November 06, 2006. Riddle me this, riddle me that. Who's afraid of the big black bat? ME I'd like to know how the poop a huge bat managed to trap itself within my apartment while all the windows were closed. Halloween was last week bitch! I live in a glorified attic (or a 'loft' according to the landlord, ha) so there's really nowhere else it could have came from. I'm perplexed. Once I saw the bat the first problem I faced was how the hell do I get it out? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Seeds & Applesauce: Batter Up
http://heknowswords.blogspot.com/2007/01/batter-up.html
Tuesday, January 23, 2007. I can confidently write without hesitation that in stepping away from the blog for the past 5 months or so that I no longer think anyone reads this. I always wanted just a journal online, and though at first it was fun to hunt readers, link off others and try my darndest to capture even a 10th of paige's audience, after a year and a bit it just got awkward. In one simple expression to describe my anxiety towards blogs come last spring - BLAAAURGGHAAH. Seeds and Applesauce is my...
