We decided to go camping again for the 4th of July. Had to make the reservation back in January but it turned out to be a great weekend. Had another family from church join us and it was a blast. We spent 4 nights at Trillium Lake on Mt. Hood. It of course didn't hurt that Chase's "girlfriend" was there! Had a lot of fun swimming, rafting, and kayaking!

Saturday, July 11, 2009. Flagstaff was cool but forgot about the trains. Our hotel was close to the tracks and we heard the train whistles all night since they have to blow their whistles every intersection. It really didn't bother me that much since it brought back memories of living in Winslow and hearing the trains. You do get to where you don't hear them anymore. It is just a normal everyday sound.
