Pain-free running?!: I need more patience
http://painfreerunning.blogspot.com/2010/11/i-need-more-patience.html
A recovering "Type A" runner takes on a new technique (ChiRunning) and a new attitude to avoid pain and injury. Saturday, November 6, 2010. I need more patience. Completed all of my workouts but I wouldn't say I enjoyed them. Still, I'm trying to embrace non-identification as a runner and the principle of gradual progress. http://painfreerunning.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
A recovering "Type A" runner takes on a new technique (ChiRunning) and a new attitude to avoid pain and injury. Monday, December 29, 2008. I headed back to the office today after six weeks. The first two weeks off were spent at a conference for work and a week with family in California. The last four weeks were spent recovering from the slightly herniated disk in my back. Today was good, but I was there only for a half day. Two more days of half-days and if all goes well, back to full-time on Friday.

A recovering "Type A" runner takes on a new technique (ChiRunning) and a new attitude to avoid pain and injury. Saturday, October 3, 2009. Saturday: Ran 2 miles faster than usual. Not quite back to my old times but improving. And the breathing was much better today - thankfully. Throat isn't closing off as often. I'm working on the stress side of things and it seems to be helping. I'll still do the ultrasound to rule out other stuff. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Subscribe Now: Feed Icon.

A recovering "Type A" runner takes on a new technique (ChiRunning) and a new attitude to avoid pain and injury. Wednesday, October 27, 2010. Starting (Way Beyond) Over. So I'm starting over with this blog. That's because I'm starting over with running in a way and I'm hoping to track what happens. It got to the point where I would bonk after only 2 or 3 miles because my HR was at 180 for most of the run. Crazy - and frustrating. Slowing my heart rate. Thank you very much for your wonderful. Thanks .y...
