Sunny And Her Boys: June 2010
http://sunnyandherboys.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 28, 2010. Remember last year when I led everyone to believe we had added kittens. I thought I was so clever and funny. What a fun little prank to play. Well, now the joke's on me. So here we have this cat, who we now know does not really have a home. Maybe the guy wanted us to have it and hoped we'd keep it. I don't know why he didn't just knock on the door and ask us. Raymond really wanted to keep it but I was very unsure. Have a pet. Yes, I was eating my words and getting raked over th...

Sunny And Her Boys: October 2010
http://sunnyandherboys.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 31, 2010. Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. So my parents really want me to watch ABC's Extreme Makeover. My dad went to the Oregon School for the Deaf. From the time he was 4 years old until he graduated high school, just shy of his 20th birthday. For sixteen years he pretty much lived at this school. This is no exaggeration either. He started school at 4 and his parents would drop him off and not come back until the weekend, four weeks later. My dad has a lot. The Makeover crew was there.

Sunny And Her Boys: January 2010

Thursday, January 28, 2010. Christmas in Chicago, Part 2. I have been uploading pictures off and on for three days now because it takes forever to do it. You'd better appreciate this post. The night after we arrived, we had a Christmas party at my parents' house. My sisters had planned a white elephant gift exchanging/wear an ugly sweater. Night with their friends. It was a lot of fun! Stairs are a novelty for my kids since hardly anyone we know has a two story house. Ugly sweater night in full session!

Sunny And Her Boys: May 2010
http://sunnyandherboys.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Wednesday, May 26, 2010. As much as I detest the intense triple digit heat we face here during the summer, I am really looking forward to the months ahead. Stacks of books from the library. Cuddling up with the boys while reading together on the couch. Long phone calls to catch up with both of my sisters; this needs to include conference calls so we can all chat together! My husband barbecuing anything and everything so I don't have to cook. Playdates with everyone I've neglected over the school year.

Sunny And Her Boys: February 2010
http://sunnyandherboys.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 21, 2010. Christmas in Chicago, Part 3. Man, it always takes me forever to get a blog post up! After playing out in the snow. Later that evening we all bundled up again to go out to dinner. Before we went on our trip, I had read a Chicago-area mom's coupon blog. If you're a couponer. And not following her blog, you really need to check it out! It was every little boy's (and grown man's! Trains, trains and more trains! The "train engineer" took our orders. And filled our drinks. They actu...

Sunny And Her Boys: Jonah's Request
http://sunnyandherboys.blogspot.com/2009/09/jonahs-request.html
Thursday, September 24, 2009. Anyway, after some time leafing through my Bible, he asks me, "Mommy. Your Bible is kinda old, and some of the pages are torn. Do you think. maybe. well. could I have it? My heart immediately melted into a puddle of mush. I was so surprised and a bit awe-struck at his eagerness. "Well, sure, you can have it", I replied, "But would you rather we get you your very own new Bible? His eyes lit up and he replied "Sure! With a big grin on his face. How can we not do it? Raymond ma...

Sunny And Her Boys: March 2010

Friday, March 26, 2010. Christmas in Chicago, Part 4. OK, so I'm not sure who even wants to still read about our trip to Chicago that was 3 months ago, but here goes. The boys just adore my parents' little dog, Rimshot. They wanted to play with him a lot. My sister Danielle overheard Nathan tell the dog, "You're so adorable! Nathan did have the habit of calling Rimshot "Jasmine" early on in our trip, a small dog that belongs to my friend Cheri. Danielle joined us outside. We were waiting for sister April.

Sunny And Her Boys: August 2010

Thursday, August 19, 2010. Sorry about the whine in my last post, I didn't mean to guilt trip anyone into posting a comment! But thank you for leaving some comment love. :) I know we're all so busy and a lot of us don't make time to leave comments. I know I love to ramble so I'm going to try my best to keep the commentary to a minimum and let the pictures speak for themselves! Summer has been fun and full. We accomplished a lot of our goals. It is summer after all. :). It never worked well! Thankfully it...

Sunny And Her Boys: Christmas 2010
http://sunnyandherboys.blogspot.com/2011/01/christmas-2010.html
Thursday, January 6, 2011. I'm going to start off by being completely honest. My name is Scrooge. This is not a recent development, mind you. Even before I got married and had kids I felt this way. Decorating for Christmas does not thrill me. It seems like too much work. My house isn't really decorated the other 11 months of the year so why on earth would I decorate for one month? Our living room genuinely doesn't have a lot of room for a Christmas tree. Ask people who've been to my house! Christmas Eve ...

Sunny And Her Boys: April 2010

Friday, April 30, 2010. Christmas in Chicago, The End, Finally! Apparently I hate blogging because I rarely do it. Or maybe it is just the procrastinator in me that lets things drag on as long as I do! Christmas was over 4 months ago. Here we go, the final installment of our trip! Why did my sister let a born and raised Californian drive in the snow? I'm just thankful that God protected them, nothing bad happened, and they made it home safe and sound after bowling. Here are a fraction of them. Too short ...
