Most of my work has been in water color and oil. I love capturing life's movement. That is a beauty in itself. Recently, I have started painting with oil and enjoy the brilliance and blending of color. Did I mention I love color? I hope you enjoy looking at my paintings. All paintings are available for purchase. Watercolor paintings are reproduced as a signed and numbered gyclee on watercolor paper. All oil paintings can be reproduced on canvas as well. Wild flowers are normally colorful and varied. So, in order to create a pleasant depiction, I prefer to represent what I would like for them to look like. Mary Ann shows her work annually at the Fulton Oysterfest. And by appointment at her home studio. Mary Ann is available for commission work too. Mary Ann is a second generation Texas artist. Her mother, Ann Halepaska, was well known in Victoria, Texas for her portraits and still lifes. Mary Ann was an avid student of locally renowned Rockport artist Simon Michael.
