Paint later, a painter's blog. The WHO WHY HOW and WHEN of paintlater. 3 De Koonings, Olsen and Paella at the Beach →. The World Wide Scribble Pad. The One that started it all…. OK Enough is enough! So I began the laborious task of putting each painting up, making notes on series but then I got a little excited. Instead of scribbling notes about exhibitions in my sketchbooks, I began blogging. Paint later, a painter's blog. The WHO WHY HOW and WHEN of paintlater. I’d Rather Go by Motherwell than a Stairwell…. The World Wide Scribble Pad →. I tend to think of myself as a landscape painter, I don’t know why. Sometimes it just doesn’t fit. I love the stuff in the landscape as much as the setting itself, even when it’s dirty fag packets. The last post was about Motherwell’s fabulous prints based on smoke packets. Part of John’s marvellous collection. Posted in abstract art. 28/08/2014 at 10:45 pm.

Wednesday, August 27, 2014. SHADOW OF THE RAVEN. I love a good historical mystery and this series I've doing covers for by the author, Tessa Harris, have been providing me with great subject matter to illustrate. The first book, The Anatomist's Apprentice, established the look and has done very well in sales. I conjured up Sherlock Holmes and Charles Dickens for that cover, which has the doctor walking through iron gates into the murky London streets on some mission of skulduggery. SHADOW OF THE RAVEN.
