No Free Lunch - Chronicle of Days Past. Jul 31st, 2015 08:58 pm No Free Lunch. We got up early at 6:30 (or 5:30, it would have been two days earlier.) We had breakfast in the dining room and had a nice chat with folks at our table. We quickly got off the ship, filled out our Canadian duty slip, got our luggage, and then stood in an unmoving line waiting for a bus for over an hour. I still dont understand what the issue was there. It was a lovely sunny day and families were out enjoying the grassy park.

I'm becoming a winter badass. Today I changed my license plate in 6 degree weather, with no gloves. The locals say I'm not a winter badass until I've done that in a tank top and flip-flops, but I think they might be crazy. I didn't know snow actually sparkled! The things you learn. Can has real winter now. As much of a pain as it is I am ECSTATIC that it actually put down a solid layer of snow before my birthday this year! We got about 15-20 centimeters of wet fluffy flakes today :D.
