Paleothea: The Ancient Goddess: Beautiful Butt
http://paleothea.blogspot.com/2008/04/beautiful-butt.html
Friday, April 11, 2008. It shouldn’t surprise you that vanity appears to have been around as we’ve had records. But what might surprise you is that, just as butts are part of the hotness requirements for women today, butts were also totally “big” back in the day! Breasts were a good thing, too (Phryne’s got her out of a charge of impiety, for example), but today I’m interested in the butt and nothing but. It was all inspired by this picture of Aphrodite. I tend to score as Aphrodite. Why So Much Sex?

From time to time students ask me questions like, “What did. 8221; I usually just refer them to vase paintings, but when I sat down and thought about it, I realized how little I know about ancient Greek garb. I am fairly confident that it didn’t look like what they dressed. Even though I can’t resist posting that photo of her! I think this is part...
Paleothea: The Ancient Goddess: Slave girls' Goddesses
http://paleothea.blogspot.com/2008/04/slave-girls-goddesses.html
Monday, April 7, 2008. The Achilles’ slave girl in the Iliad. Was the daughter of the king of the Leleges at Pedasus. Maybe I shouldn’t even be talking about them, since they are so absent from myth. But they must have grown up with many of the same stories. I wonder, which gods and goddesses they saw as sympathetic. Surely not the aristocratic Athena. But I’d be willing to bet that at least some became supplicants of Aphrodite. March 20, 2011 at 1:14 AM. March 20, 2011 at 5:25 PM. June 5, 2011 at 3:20 AM.

Women in Greek Myths Goddess Quiz
http://www.paleothea.com/quiz.html
1 Are you a night owl or are you more a "fun in the sun" type of chick? I'm absolutely in love with the night sky. Day's good because I can make sure everything's under control, but nights are fine as long as I know where my man is. I like evening the best. Oh! Especially in front of a nice warm fire. Well, darkness can be seductive - but I actually prefer the day so I can be with more people. There's nothing like the sun shining through the trees. However I can get my work done. I barely notice it.
