Fiberarts: Fall 2011
http://karensfiberarts.blogspot.com/2011/10/fall-2011.html
Sunday, October 23, 2011. Here are Matthew and Lori at the Ghost Train event. We rode in the cab, thanks to my husband, who volunteers driving the steam locomotive on weekends! This is the purple/pink wool dyed last fall, picked and ready to go to the the fiber mill. The plan is to blend the two together, and see what comes back. More picked wool dyed with the color Cypress. White wool yarn hand painted a few weeks ago. Hope to make some kids socks or hats out of this, very colorful and cheerful. Http:/ ...

Fiberarts: Back at it
http://karensfiberarts.blogspot.com/2012/06/back-at-it.html
Wednesday, June 20, 2012. Here are two top down raglan baby sweaters I ended up making for my friend's twin grandbabies. They needed to be gender neutral and this is what I found, the yarn is Plymouth Encore Colorspun. Nice work, Karen! Cant wait to see more. Wednesday, June 20, 2012. Fiberarts: Wool, wool, everywhere
http://karensfiberarts.blogspot.com/2012/10/wool-wool-everywhere.html
Sunday, October 7, 2012. Wool, wool, everywhere. This is the raspberry fleece just back from the fiber mill, Stonehedge. It was mixed with a darker purple and some of the wool ended up a pale rose color, all blended together at the mill. It will probably turn out a heathery color, and there is a pound and a quarter,so that should be enough to make several small projects. Monday, October 08, 2012. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Knitty KAL: Finished Fetching!
http://knittyk-a-l.blogspot.com/2007/08/finished-fetching.html
Wednesday, August 15, 2007. Two delayed flights didn't hear complaints from me, 'cause they allowed me to complete the pair of Fetchings that I started at the Stitch n Pitch. I'm enjoying the summer, but won't complain once the weather has cooled down and I'm able to wear them! I already have a request for another pair, too! The red is a perfect color. And the yarn shows off the cables nicely. August 15, 2007 at 9:32 PM. Great pattern, and a nice color to boot. September 26, 2007 at 12:10 PM.

Knitty KAL: Shedir - Finished!
http://knittyk-a-l.blogspot.com/2007/08/shedir-finished.html
Friday, August 10, 2007. I finished Shedir yesterday. It wasn't difficult, just a bit time consuming and cabling without a cable needle is necessary to move this project along. It's well worth it to learn the technique. The hat looks particularly nice with the Rowan Felted Tweed. I recommend the pattern to anyone who likes trying out some intensive cabling. For more information, see my blog post. Next up for the KAL, I'll start Ester within the next two months. August 10, 2007 at 4:24 PM. If you'd like t...

Sunday, August 19, 2007. I knit my sockapalooza pal some beaded socks, and had a bunch of beads that were leftover - so I made her a Bauble to match! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Knitty KAL: August 2007
http://knittyk-a-l.blogspot.com/2007_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 21, 2007. I'm making slow progress on my Knitty projects. Shedir is on the left, and Clapotis is on the right. I haven't figured out how to cable without a cable needle, so I think that might be slowing me down on Shedir. Clapotis is coming along; I'm on the straight rows, and dropping the stitches is a lot of fun! It does slow down, though. It's been so much fun to watch everyone else's progress! And to think, a new knitty will be out soon for more KAL fun! A Sheldon named Demetri. Two d...

Knitty KAL: Fetching is Catching!
http://knittyk-a-l.blogspot.com/2007/08/fetching-is-catching.html
Thursday, August 9, 2007. I decided to take a break from Isabella to work on begin Fetching at the Mets/Braves Stitch n Pitch. Fun pattern, fabulous game! Isn't it a riot that knitters/crocheters/etc have a social networking site, meet at public sporting events, and will do just about anything anywhere to celebrate our crafts? That looks like great fun! And the game didn't look bad, either! August 9, 2007 at 3:19 PM. Fetching is my favorite pattern! The red yarn is beautiful! August 9, 2007 at 8:12 PM.

Knitty KAL: July 2007
http://knittyk-a-l.blogspot.com/2007_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 30, 2007. I started it on July 4th, so it was a relatively quick project. A little boring at times, but what do you expect with that much ribbing! Thanks, Kathy in Iowa. Stop by my blog to see a photo of the recipient. Do you think it will fit? Http:/ nuttinbutknittin.blogspot.com/. I was able to start and funish a pair of monkey socks. What a fun and fast pattern! I am looking for another pair of socks to make. there are so many wonderful ones on knitty! Sunday, July 29, 2007. As soon as th...
