September 30, 2008. Tonight was Hannah's first orchestra concert of the year. They played 3 songs and did a great job. Hannah was very excited to be a first violin this year. She plays with confidence and enthusiasm and most importantly really, really, really likes her teacher Dr. Neves. March 4, 2009. By looking at us you would think that we are always sweet and happy, you might also think that we love to get ready for and then go to bed. NOT! We were up 3 times a piece before 3 am and then up again at 6! Good thing we are cute. March 3, 2009. On Sunday Tess decided to help me fix dinner. She placed a peeled banana, a bowl, a few pieces of licorice and an unopened pack of cold cereal. She was so proud of herself! Just as long as she doesn't learn how to turn it on. November 15, 2008. The first graders honored the veterans with an assembly. Katie too her Grandpa Palmer's Army coat to show and told us how proud she was that he served his country! She did a great job and wasn't even nervous! It is too bad that we were too far back for the camera to focus. Tess is such a cute little stinker. May 3, 2009. Here a few shots from the big day. This is the only time that Tess smiled for the whole ceremony. The rest of the time she screamed for her binki-bottle which had not been brought with us. We had a great day with lots of support. We are both much relieved.
