This can be used for things that have a large, repeating texture, such as terrains and certain parts of buildings. 1) Grab texture from somewhere. (eg, cgtextures.com). 2) Resize to be a square. 3) Offset by roughly half the width and half the height. 5) Use clone tool with a soft brush to remove seams. 7) Ctrl E to flatten.
