We'll be camping out most of the way, and expect to take about 5-6 weeks to complete the tour. If we can average 50 miles a day, we'll be golden! Our plan is to take all our camping gear on our bikes, and only stay in hotels once a week or so. Crazy, huh? Well, that's about it. Should get started on dinner, soon. Idaho or Bust: Day 1.

Wednesday, April 14, 2010. Last night I dreamed. Daniel and I were both in the Army so that we could be together. Daniel was deployed to Iraq and I (soon afterwards) was also told that I would be going to Iraq. I had to find someone to watch my kids for 6 months. My mom said she would watch them but it absolutely. Killed me to leave Aiden and Audrina behind. The guilt and feeling of being powerless over my life swept over me! Wednesday, November 11, 2009. So I had something happen last night. I went to take a bath to relax after having worked out at home (last night). I decided to add some essential oils to the bath.I added peppermint. I accidentally poured 1/3 of the bottle in. I didn't really think about it and I still got in. Wednesday, March 24, 2010. Is it THAT time again? We're back at (that) place again! The beginning of yet another deployment. We are very happy that this one is only supposed to be 12 months as opposed to 15 months for the last one. The goodbye was very hard.here are some pictures from Daniel's last day in the United States! We went to the park to spend some time with the kids instead of waiting around for Daniel to deploy. The last few minutes with Daddy were spent having fun. We miss you so much Daniel!

Saturday, February 4, 2012. Things that make you go hummmmm. Or, maybe not. I'm stronger. I can feel it. Just some of the tasks that I've had to do at work that used to be a struggle because items were heavy, I can lift, carry, do what I need to do. It's pretty cool what a difference a month can make. Sunday, May 9, 2010. My good friend, Amy, got married this weekend. Jody and I loaded up the car and made the 4 hour drive to Fernandina Beach, FL to see the happy couple start their life together. They had a beach wedding, the first one I've ever attended. It was beautiful! Here's a picture of the beautiful bride and me!
