http://annemacfarlane.blogspot.com/2011/05/harder-than-it-looks.html
Wednesday, May 18, 2011. Harder than it looks. Where have I been all this time? Struggling to revise the requested partial of After Hours with the CEO. It seemed simple. I thought it would be. Until I tried making sense of a book that was put together one way and now had to be reconstructed with a big chunk of the motivation gone. Yikes. The Center of Attention Gone WRONG. About The Author /. Tooth and Nail /. Hard work writes books. Inspiration can help. By inspiration, I don’t necessarily mean the ‘thesis statement’ of your novel, or the trick ending you’re hoping to slip in without the reader figuring it out ahead of time. That’s the spark that starts you to your keyboard, the kindling that ignites your imagination and feeds your inspiration. So inspiration is what keeps you writing every day, right? I know that sounds like a pessimis...
