Butternut squash & kale pasta. Posted by pamela on Jan. 28, 15 0 COMMENTS. This recipe was inspired by: veggies that needed to be used, tummies that needed to be filled, and a recipe I no longer have that definitely included ham. All quantities are approximate as it was a ‘throw together’ recipe. But, it was wonderfully yummy and my guess is anything remotely close will also taste great (because that is what happens when you take great veggies and add some butter). 1/2 onion, diced. 1/2 cups of milk.

Moments of peace without the power. Posted by pamela on Jul. 02, 13 1 COMMENT. It brings back a flood of memories, most of them happy memories, nearly all filled with a sense of adventure. I love that without power the noise of modernity goes away and nature speaks a little louder. I love the soft glow it casts on the hours. An inconvenience to some, the power outage was a silent and perfect gift for me that Sunday evening. Street children: part of my life traveling the globe. It takes a year. Time I am ...

Spiritual pilgrim under renovation. What is it about the Olympics? 8220;A single mome…. 8220;A single moment of absorption in God is more valuable than a longer period of prayer during which we are constantly in and out of interior silence. It only takes a moment for God to enrich us.”. Thomas Ryan, C.S.P. Prayer of Heart and Body. April 1, 2012. This entry was posted in Uncategorized. What is it about the Olympics? My Boy Nelson: October 2009

http://myboynelson.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html

Thursday, October 29, 2009. My friend Katie surprised me by nominating My Boy Nelson for a Kreativ Blogger award. My first thought was Wow! That's really sweet of her, cause I've never really considered My Boy Nelson as particularly creative. Irreverent, yes. Sentimental - occasionally. Sarcastic, quite often. Funny? Well, I try. But, creative? Nonetheless, My Boy and I are quite tickled with the award! Here's what you're supposed to do to pass on the award. Copy the logo and place it on your blog. I lov...

Wish You Were Here!: Books of 2012- Part 1

http://marcusandalyssa.blogspot.com/2013/01/books-of-2012-part-1.html

Thursday, January 17, 2013. Books of 2012- Part 1. Last year, I set a goal for myself. I wanted to commit to reading one book every month in 2012. Little did I know I'd join a book club halfway through the year! I was really proud of myself for completing my goal and I thought I'd share my book list in case any of you are looking for some good reads! Because I exceeded my goal, I'm splitting up my list into three posts so they won't be super long. If you are a reader, I'd suggest checking out Goodreads.
