Just another WordPress.com weblog. Laquo; Cindy’s Beaded Buttons and Purse. Cindy’s Bead Journal Project update – Finally! I’m so remiss in my blogging efforts. In my own defense – I’m working like a crazy woman – but that’s no excuse for not getting back to the website! I’ve learned so much from each one – this project is teaching me a great deal. October is a part of a sunflower. I’ve woven the bead part on a. October’s Work in progress: Here’s a photo of the October work in progress. The stocking orna...

https://copperloom.wordpress.com/2009/05/07/cindys-april-bead-journal-project
Just another WordPress.com weblog. Laquo; Cindy’s March BJP. Cindy’s April Bead Journal Project. April’s page is finished. This month there have been egrets in the marsh. Today I saw a dragonfly – so I’m thinking the May page will be a dragonfly. I want to weave the background for this month and maybe do some sort of bead-weaving strip across the bottom. I have a really cool dragonfly lamp-work bead and have been waiting for the right project to come along……. Feed You can leave a response. Enter your com...

Love Grows | Fetching Fibers

Finding color in work and life. Laquo; Vision or memories? Unusual for me to use a heart motif in my artwork. Yet, during a 5 week period in Jan and Feb, my husband and I celebrated our 19th wedding anniversary, my birthday and valentine’s day. So, thoughts of our lives together come naturally. January BJP piece | Fetching Fibers
https://fetchingfibers.wordpress.com/2009/01/23/january-bjp-piece
Finding color in work and life. Laquo; Lydia Totes. Here’s my January BJP piece – nothing like I expected, but one of my favorites. It was challenging to stick to my original goals – I kept wanting to branch off to other ideas and add other colors. I am proud of the final project and of the discipline it took to stick to my plan. (I tried to make notes of the other ideas, so that I might use them on other projects.) I hope you like it as well! Feed You can leave a response. From your own site. Nancy, I&#...

Finding color in work and life. Laquo; Been busy stitching! I made two decisions: First, I will make two pieces per month – one more of a studio-journal/art/technique type and the other more a journal piece – intuitive and reflective of my current thoughts and life. Framed and ready to hang in a place of honor. This entry was posted on October 8, 2008 at 12:37 am and is filed under BJP. You can follow any responses to this entry through the RSS 2.0. Feb bjp | Quirky Weavings
https://copperloom.wordpress.com/2009/03/26/feb-bjp
Just another WordPress.com weblog. Laquo; Jan. bjp. I couldn’t resist a heart for February’s page. I have various forms of beading on it – and had a great time working on it. I made some felt for the background and tried something new. I used the embellisher to make the felt – using a mesh tulle background, then tried some wet-felting techniques to make the finish smoother. I used wool roving and wool scraps and most likely some cat hairs are in there as well. I had help while I worked! From your own site.
