Saturday, April 30, 2011. 回港至今已有大半年，手腕一直懸空，最近積極地找尋一支手錶，看上了機械錶的工藝和玩味，終於在前兩天買了一隻 東方牌（Orient）. 指針式手錶有兩種，一種是傳統的機械式手錶，不需要電力，單靠錶內的機械結構令手錶逐秒跳動；另一種是石英錶，利用石英穩定的物理特性，靠電力令手錶行走，準確度比機械錶為高，而且重量和成本皆低，照理說，機械錶是必然會被淘汰的，然而喜歡手錶的人都以對機械錶趨之若鶩，甚至認為石英錶或電子錶只能是一個時計，只有機械錶才能稱得上一隻手錶。 自動機械錶不用入電池，只靠戴它的人平常活動產生動能，推動手錶內的複雜機械結構，這種工藝是經過手錶工匠仔細的調較，絕非呆板的石英錶或冰冷的電子錶所能比擬的，自動機械錶需要每天都戴上一定的時間儲能，而且誤差可能達到每天正負一兩分鐘，但當你仔細看它內部機件運作，因搖晃而賦予能量，令一隻手錶充滿生命，也可以說是對鐘錶歷史的一種情懷。 要感受機械錶的迷人之處，一定要看到它的「心跳」. Sunday, July 15, 2007. 剛剛知道xanga原來也有提供rss feed，但它好像不太鼓勵其用戶使用，因為就選擇發放rss，都不會在xanga用戶的首頁顯示，因此一般xanga用戶都不常用（可能甚至不知道有這個功能），致使不少人想以rss訂閱朋友的xanga都做不到。 Xanga的rss feed其實就是 http:/ www.xanga.com/ username. 用rss reader的朋友可以用此方法訂閱朋友的xanga了，用 Google Reader. 但凡事又豈能盡如人意呢？之前說xanga不鼓勵用戶使用rss feed，是因為xanga能讓用戶選擇設定不開放rss，而偏偏不少xanga用戶都有用xanga tracker，用來監察自己xanga的訪客來自甚麼地方、id、訪問時間等等，但通過rss訂閱的便不在監察範圍之內，結果導致不少xanga用戶都不開放rss。 July 15, 2007 at 11:43 PM. Tuesday, November 17, 2009. 10 days in Paris - Day 2 (24 Oct 09 Part 1). 前一晚早睡，所以今天自然醒，在民宿吃點昨天買的麵包當早餐，輕輕鬆鬆，悠閒出發，這就是一個人去旅行的好處，不用趕，也不用等。 今天的天氣不太好，一整天都陰陰的，不時夾雜一點毛毛細雨，照片拍起來都灰濛濛的，也好，讓我可以感受不同天氣下的巴黎。 去Jardin du Luxembourg，也是在Montparnasse區的，本來預算是昨天去的，可是延誤了，所以今日早上就就先來這個公園看看。從rue de Rennes走過去，到公園時大概11點。 今天的rue de Rennes，與昨天有一個很大的對比. 在公園漫步，有很多人在跑步，有小朋友在嬉戲，一個悠然的巴黎星期六。 大宅前的池塘，好多鴨，或者鴛鴦？ 法國人在耍太極，而且不只一群，在公園內好幾個角落也有人在耍，想不到法國人對太極也這麼熱衷. 公園內的Palais du Luxembourg，謝絕參觀. 繞到後面的Eglise St-Etienne du Mont參觀，不用入場費的。 電影台近來常常重播ӎ...
