Nuggets from the Southern Hemisphere. Tasty morsels in text and pictorial form. Thursday, 27 January 2011. Going out with a bang - Sihanoukville and the Full Moon Party on Koh Phangan. Well, well, well. What a mental couple of weeks we've had, and with that, an incredible 8 months away. As most of you know we're back in the UK now, so at last we've had time to put together a post about Sihanoukville and Koh Phangan. We wanted to go out with a bang that's exactly how it ended up. We had a 19 person dorm, ...

Nuggets from the Southern Hemisphere: June 2010
http://southernhemisnuggets.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Nuggets from the Southern Hemisphere. Tasty morsels in text and pictorial form. Monday, 28 June 2010. We´ve been in Itacare for about 5 days now. something like that, it´s hard to keep track when life moves at such a chilled pace! So many people come here for a few days and stay months or even years and it´s easy to see why. The street parties are massive, all ages are out from young kids to the elderly and this is at midnight to 6am kind of time! It´s been pretty light hearted though. Walk to the beach.

Nuggets from the Southern Hemisphere. Tasty morsels in text and pictorial form. Tuesday, 28 December 2010. Nuggets from the Northern Hemisphere. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! The way someone might carry some dead ducks in Europe. Surely they should be dead before you string them up like that? I guess you had to be there really. Everyone was either a Kiwi or from nothern England. It was pretty expensive to visit and beer was about 5 pounds for a scooner - about 400ml - criminal! Another surprising...

Nuggets from the Southern Hemisphere: October 2010
http://southernhemisnuggets.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Nuggets from the Southern Hemisphere. Tasty morsels in text and pictorial form. Wednesday, 20 October 2010. Northland - The Northern tip of New Zealand. In fact, we have the link of the route we took right here:. Driving through the countryside in the North was really amazing. In the sunshine, everything looks almost photoshopped! The greens and blues are more vivid, there doesn't seem to be a tree, or cow, or house that looks out of place. It really is picture perfect. When we got to Cape Reinga the wea...
