Just so we're all informed. Saturday, May 31, 2008. You and the Navy. Full Speed Ahead. Well, it's official. My brother and brother-in-law have now joined the Navy. (Side note: I realize this is a picture of Uncle Sam calling people to the Army, but it serves it's purpose here.) This is an exciting and nerve-wracking time for my family. Just so we're all informed. Saturday, June 11, 2011. I got a call from the embryologist yesterday. Six of the eggs they retrieved were immature and could not be fertilized, which we expected based on my sonograms. Out of the six mature eggs, all six fertilized. 100% success in my opinion! We are so excited. I cannot even describe how amazing this process is. It's so fascinating. I can say that it's unlikely I would ever do the first part of the cycle again. Brutal! Monday, November 17, 2008. This was at the Navy Pier. It was alright, especially after we figured out we could walk inside. Andrew just had to be in this picture. Here is my Sailor in our room at the Navy Lodge. He is so handsome in his dress blues. He looked so proud and grown up. Here is all of us kids in the hall at the Navy Lodge. Sunday, February 15, 2009. Don't you wish you were there? Well, this past week, I was. Sherry and I got out of town and hit the beach of South Padre Island for a few days! It was so nice to get away from the "real world" and have a break for a bit. The water was pretty, sand was soft, and the breeze just right. Well, there was pretty heavy wind for a day or two before the sun came out, and then we both got burned, but who wants to hear about that? So, I figure that's a good sign. :). Other Blogs I love.
