SoupToNuts: In Memoriam
http://stlsouptonuts.blogspot.com/2011/08/in-memoriam.html
For every course of life! Tuesday, August 9, 2011. She didn't eat white-colored food but devoured fried cauliflower. She didn't eat dairy but loved a good vanilla malt. She didn't eat fish but looked forward to fried cod at Lent. She didn't eat bread unless it was marbled rye. She didn't eat liver but her fridge was reliably stocked with braunschweiger. She made the best strawberry daiquiris this side of the Mississippi but never drank a drop of alcohol. December 13, 1926 - August 6, 2011.

a Thousand Words & counting: Strange things aFoot...
http://athousandwordsandcounting.blogspot.com/2011/12/strange-things-afoot.html
A Thousand Words and counting. You don't take a photograph, you make it Ansel Adams. Thursday, December 8, 2011. I've spent the better part of my life swearing I would never. Run unless something far greater was tailing me with a hungry look in its eye. Even then I'd probably hesitate to actually pick up the pace because chances are I could just nag the perpatrator to death. What is this a mugging? You call this a mugging? You're trying to mug me? You know I already saw your face right? My sad little foot.

A Thousand Words and counting. You don't take a photograph, you make it Ansel Adams. Friday, December 16, 2011. So I've been doing this crazy running thing. Race time temp: 26 degrees.people that's COLD! That's my "I'm freezing pre-race" face. Two of my cousins drove in for the race. because they're awesome. Cousin's Alyssa and Barbara getting ready for the race. I'm pensive about getting pinned. Some of us just wiggled really. And then of course we ran. All 1,100 of us. But then I didn't! And we all liv...

For every course of life! Tuesday, March 15, 2011. Obsession Tuesday.Confectionary Edition! Well what happens when you combine it with a wafer cookie and wrap it in two different kinds of chocolate.you get:. I picked this little puppy up in the food section of World Market. SoupToNuts: Fish Fry Fiesta
http://stlsouptonuts.blogspot.com/2011/03/fish-fry-fiesta.html
For every course of life! Monday, March 21, 2011. Last weekend found the Tilapia Mafia at a particularly intriguing fish fry. We hit up a predominately Hispanic church and were delighted to find some pretty authentic (not so typical) fish fry delights with a smattering of sides like fries and (randomly) easy mac. Chili relleno, fried cheese quesadilla, fries, and easy mac. Well you've come to the right place. Next up the beer table! Tecate, Corona, and a pitcher of the hometown Bud Light. We also saw a f...

For every course of life! Monday, March 14, 2011. At last Friday's Lenten Fish Fry. We were all tremendously excited about the bounty the dessert table had to offer. One can almost guarantee that every selection is homemade, someone's Grandma is responsible for the best stuff, and the rice crispy treats are the lame contribution of the parishioner saddled with enough Catholic guilt to oblige in a dessert donation. D: ( on the way to the dessert table. Do they have ice cream over there too?
