Qualche volta, per lavoro o altro, è capitato di dover aprire qualche file di Windows non compatibile con Ubuntu, o con qualsiasi altro sistema operativo libero, anche con l'aiuto di software tipo Wine. La miglior soluzione, in questi casi è usare Windows in dual boot o, se proprio non si vuole impiegare troppo spazio su disco, usare appunto una macchina virtuale. Blog di un Ubuntu Member. Mercoledì 29 giugno 2011. Unity, oramai, è diventato importantissimo per lo sviluppo di Ubuntu. In Natty, è stato scelto come DE predefinito, con il vecchio GNOME 2 già preinstallato. In Oneiric, invece, GNOME 2 non ci sarà più, sostituito dalle due versioni di Unity, in 3D e in 2D. Purtroppo, anche unity in 2D, non può essere usato dai possessori di Xubuntu e di Lubuntu, che lavorano su PC datati, dove è impossibile avere in DE di quel genere. Ecco il video, buona visione!
