Sunday, May 3, 2009. I am working on a new deck at our pool. Pictures will be coming soon. Hope our kids and grandaughters want to swim this summer. On April 27 we had Mike and Megan for dinner. It was one of those hot dog days of spring. It must have been a whopping 72 degrees. All of us got large snowballs with marshmellow on top. Saturday, May 30, 2009. Just thought you might want to check out our transformation from plywood countertops to granite over the last week! As simple as "getting granite" might seem.as you can see, there is a lot of prep work. For the new to come, the old must go. Right out the back door. Mike giving me a thumbs up. Ehdoesn't look any nicer yet. And just when we thought we were done.now it's time to pick out backsplash. Well, that decision is for another day. The new counters look great! Where we left off.
