http://sheonas.blogspot.com/2007_09_01_archive.html
A graphite artists studio insights, updates and happenings. Sunday, 30 September 2007. Putting a dream out to pasture. Have you ever had one of these moments where you feel incredibly sad but also relieved? This is how I feel right now. I brought my gorgeous mare to her retirement home today. It's a great place. Where loved and well cared for horses come to live in peace. She walked off the trailer and into her new home with a serenity and a calmness I have seldom experienced. If growing up is the proces...

http://sheonas.blogspot.com/2010/05/day-i-rode-hurricane.html
A graphite artists studio insights, updates and happenings. Wednesday, 12 May 2010. The day I rode Hurricane. Would you agree that, as an artist, knowing your subject is not only important but crucial? Which is why I could not believe my luck when the opportunity to not only photograph (once again) but actually ride one of the most charismatic horses. I recall see...
